Paul has been a DJ forever and is influenced by 80s soul, funk and disco. He worked with Dave Rawlings (after the latter had split from Quartz (2)) for several years before Jazz Vandall's was born in 1994. Then with Sarah Weller and Simon Golding, the trio formed Urban Dwellers. Paul also formed Heikatsu with Simon Golding, which features soulful smooth jazz for a change.
