Pete Saunders began his musical career in the 1980s playing Hammond Organ for Dexys Midnight Runners on their first album and worked with various other artists from The Damned to Carmel.
His Mr. Bongo alias was used to release an upbeat, housey cover-version of Booker T & The MG's classic Soul Limbo in 1995.
Nowadays, he plays piano and sings a variety of styles from New Orleans blues to jazz and swing standards. He also collaborates with other musicians in duos and groups.
