This year will be thirty years since Biko's death under Apartheid's brutal circumstances of torture and interrogation. Every aware/reasonable listener (young and old) should give a proper listen to Gabriel's eternal anthem, hoping to realise the ever-growing problem of social (and racial) unrests today still raging mercilessly.

Peter Gabriel is an amazing artist, his entire discography has no bad marks - even when it seems to be a bit self-aware or over-the-top, mixing extravaganza with socio-political issues, Gabriel still does serve the world as one of its lonesome freedom-fighters/commentators on conformist topics - using music as powerful tool against mankind's prejudices. As enigmatic as he is approachable to masses, he wasn't afraid to experiment - producing a fine line between pop and the avantgarde, for which musically speaking any of his contemporaries can only envy him.

From his early post-Genesis still-progrock albums ('1', '2'), through more electronic expressed ('3', '4') to musical growth on both - auditive and visual level ('So', 'Us', 'Up'), including two remarkable soundtracks of all times ('Birdy' and 'Passion'), Gabriel produced astonishing body of work that stands the test of time and deservedly wins new audiences.
