Peter Lawlor

Peter Lawlor is a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist who's mainstream talent effectively came to light following his creation of White Water Records and the band Stiltskin. Following the success of the band's first single he signed international recording deals with both Virgin Records and Warner Bros.

The Stiltskin single "Stiltskin - Inside" was developed from his theme for a Levi's jeans commercial. He has subsequently created many award-winning commercial soundtracks for leading-brand products, including themes for the English Premier League on TV, BBC World Service and the 2000 Olympic Games. He wrote and produced 'Under the Tree' for The Water Babies and has written scores for five movies and a few TV shows.

Winner of a BAFTA, Mid-Summer awards for best original composition and the Music Publishers Association award for "Best Original composition", Lawlor has also contributed tracks to more than 12 Gold Albums.
