Pianoman, The

James Sammon's career began as a Pirate radio DJ in the north of England in his late teens. From there James went into club djing through contacts at the stations he worked. by 1991 he began pressing his own vinyl after being inspired by certain records that he had in his collection. At that time the Sound in the north of England was the Italo Piano sound and that was the sound James Stuck with from the early 90's "Whitney Tune" to "Blurred" in 1996 which got James his UK top Ten hit As Pianoman, Other aliases have been used to release records, such as bass boyz and Piano City Productions. After the sucess of blurred, yet "in house" problems at his record label, James decided to release his own records, He has 3 labels, Bling Bling records, Solo Vinyl and DJ Friendly records, which he and production partner "PK" release one record a month.
