Pleiadians' name was forged when a famous label requested them to do so. They didn't like the idea of them releasing material under another label as they wanted the exclusive of the Etnica name. Therefore they did and actually it perfectly fitted the music they made. Curiously for them making tracks was just one thing, and they didn't plan to make different projects with different names, for them it was all Etnica material.
Their first two albums, "Identified Flying Object" from 1997, and their sophmore output, "Family Of Light" from 1999, are both Goliats each in their own right. An unprecedented clash of furious energy, raging & complex melodies, intense psychedelia, constantly rabid madness and skilful sonic manipulation is to be found on both of them. Those albums aside, they also had quite a few classic tunes released on some great various artists compilations. Genre wise, the music portrayed on the debut is old school goa trance, and the album itslef is often brought up as the most striking and forward thinking example of the genre, while their subsequent full lenghth release found the italian lads pushing the envelope much further, evolving and not only adapting to the new demands of the listeners, but experimenting with completely new concepts and ideas.
Regardless of what style and kind of music are you in to, it would be a shame to miss out on this great legacy. My complete world got shook up after getting acquainted with the Pleiadians.
