Power Band is a concept name for Discomagic Records to create Snap's cover versions.
Starting from "The Power", following with "Oops Up", "Cult Of Snap", "Mary Had A Little Boy" and "The Hype" till "Rhythm Is A Dancer" and "Welcome To Tomorrow", this label published personal versions of all their worldwide hit singles.
A megamix of the first five songs has been released too ("Snap It Up") and all titles have been included in several compilations for the italian market as well as foreign countries.
The hit song is usually coupled with an instrumental and an unreleased track based on the main idea of the smash hit.
Later throughout the year the Power Band name has been used to release dance cover versions of pop tunes such as Naomi Campbell's "Love & Tears" and "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" made popular by Michael Jackson as well as other massive dance characters (La Bouche).
