Ras Kass, west-coast MC, was born John Austin in Watts, California, in 1972. A philosophy major at USC, he is a member of hip-hop group Golden State alongside Saafir and Xzibit. Ras Kass also formed the Four Horsemen with talented MCs Canibus, Kurupt and Killah Priest.
