Respirator

A one-man project by Danish artist Thomas Christensen, who works with IT and songwriting. After many years as a "traditional" musician, the computer gave Thomas the chance to move on. Thomas describes his music as an exploration, where the result may not be fertile, but where it doesn't need to be. Respirator is characterized by tracks consisting of randomized compositions and a fascination with technology and its limits. Digital anomalies and errors are welcome. Thomas uses a mix of real life sounds (sampled from stuff like toy instruments) and software-based sounds. All editing is done on a laptop PC using Cubase SX.
