Rex The Dog

Real Name:Jake Williams
Profile:Imagine someone, after having started his time machine, flies over the mountains and valleys of music history at bright sunlight and his dog snatching at everything that looks somehow interesting. A little bit of 1984, a little taste of 2011 and a long, extended free flight over 1990. At a time when the human voice was replaced by bleeps and clonks and bands like LFO ruled the roost! It is rumoured that Rex is an alias of Jake Williams who had a slew of top ten hits in Europe in the early '90s. Others claim Rex is a German electro/techno producer. Others claim he is a super intelligent mutant dog. Regardless of his exact identity, Rex The Dog is a reference to the Rex the Wonder Dog cartoon series that was created by DC Comics in the '50s. His recent back catalogue includes remixes for The Knife, Depeche Mode, Mylo, The Prodigy and Soulwax. And he makes wacky retro analogue all out stomping electro!
