This aged man might not have been in the game since early times but you shouldn't pick on his nose for that reason. In fact, he has understood how to make electronic music for more mature house music lovers. His main camp might be in the Deep house area but he has put his foot on other fields too. I first got a hold of his "Bring Me Closer" release on 240 Volts and that remained on my top 5 list for long time, but i soon realized i was just scratching the surface..
I will have to urge you to pick up his two albums; "Safety", "Details" and the mentioned 12" on 240 Volts. This man makes the most blissful stuff that will make the hair on your neck stand up. He also knows how to do bass-lines.. Deep, bubbling & lovely bass-lines, and he woven them together with vocals, beats, vibes and strings like the finest Persian rugs.
He lives in Berlin but has found alot of inspiration in Detroit deep house among many things. If you dig stuff from The Timewriter, John Daly or Marvin Dash for example this will be something for you. Just more mellow, a bit deeper and abit more for grown up people who seeks that 'extra special' in these times were the market is saturated with low-quality house. His other stuff under his other pseudonyms is recommended pickin' up too.
