I will agree that Ricky Dillard is one of few House vocal masters. Although Ricky has been called back to his duties in the church it is songs like “Let the music use you” that still brings an emotion to my heart. There are not many truly male vocal “House Masters” but Ricky does make the cut along side of ‘Leroy Burgess, Arnold Jarvis, Robert Owens, and Keith Williams to name a few. Although I like most all of the earlier stuff that Ricky recorded that came out of Chicago, even some of his Gospel songs works. When you break it down to simply a imprint of a total classic expression “Let the music use you” is by far on of the best House tracks recorded.
