The DJ Riko, who originally came from Paris ,first came into contact with electronic music in 1999 in the free party circle in Normandy. In 2003 he obtained his first set of record decks followed by a sound system. It was then that with his great mate, Osmoze, that they decided to create their own sound system: ‘le Teklicit Crew’. At the same time they set up an internet site called ‘le teklicit.net’ much appreciated by those who exchange records on the net. At this time Riko started to organize numerous free parties. In 2005 his taste for bassline and drum and bass started him playing in various bars and clubs in his region. It was in this exciting atmosphere that he met up with many chip setters such as Benny or Dr B. However, it was only really when he met up again with Floxytek from Marsatek Crew that he started to compose himself. In 2006 he participated at the Kazamatara Party in Warsaw , Poland. His first steps as a composer were taken when he brought out his first ‘vinyl’ Spyder 08 on the Kryzalide label. At the end of the year, Billx joined the crew. In 2007 many plans for the production of tracks were made such as Geisha 06 (Tekita), Spyder 09 (Kryzalide), Ouanagine 4 (Astrophonik), ATKM02 (Atkm rec), Planet Kik 08 (Toonz Rec) and Full Level 01(Skwat rec) . After these encouraging beginnings Riko and his friends decided to produce their own label ‘Teklicit Marsatek Records’on which he put his first opus. On his decks Riko started Break music and English Electro. 2008 is a new year full of various projects and opportunites.....and so the story goes on !!!!!!!!
