Robert van Hove began working as a sound engineer in 1972 at the Decca Recording Studio in Brussels (8 tracks). After meeting Sylvain Vanholme, he moved to Start Recording Studios Buizingen (8 & 16 tracks) in 1973, were he worked till 1975. Then he worked in the Morgan Studios Brussels & London-(24 tracks)until 1976.
He then joined the Shiva Recording Studio (24 tracks) until 1980. After that he worked as a freelance engineer at Shiva, Studio Katy Ohain, ICP Brussels, and in many locations worldwide.
Now, Robert van Hove lives in Provence, south of France, where he has built a digital sound studio in an 18th century old farm located in the beautiful surrounds of the "Parc Naturel des Baronnies Provençales". The new studio is operating since may 2011.
