The Danish Singer/composer Søs Fenger was born the 2. December 1961.
In 1980 she becomes part of the band Sweet Intentions. Her big breakthrough comes in May 1983 as she replaces Gitte Naur as singer in the band
News.
In 1986 she marries the male singer
Thomas Helmig (they later in 1989 get divorced). She sings duet with Thomas Helmig called "Når sneen falder", and on the AIDS-awarenes single "Den jeg elsker elsker jeg".
In January 1987 she leaves News to go on a US unclear test protest tour called "Next Stop Nevada" together with the band
Moonjam.
She released her first solo album "Vinterdage" in 1989, throughout the following years she releases a couple of solo albums. She has occasionally performed with Hounddog Allstars (All-stars group with members from the Danish music scene).
