The Sangwara project (created by D.J. Gabry Ponte and M.T.J. Capuano) born in the first months of 1996, with its first single: Gangsta's Paradise (cover of a famous Coolio's song, at the top of all the hit-parades of the world), sung and rapped in this new dance version by the american Joe Fancey. After a few months (June 96) Sangwara prints their second single: Killing Me Softly (from an old Roberta Flack's success), in short time at the top of all the dance parades. In November 96 comes out the third single: Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody (brought again in fashion, also thanks to the contemporary hip hop cover made by "The Braids"), sung again by the wonderful voice of Clare Thomas (as in the two previous singles). In February 97 the next Sangwara's production is out, and now it's Don't Speak (famous hit by No Doubt), in a new dance version particularly appraised by the public, whether for the power and the melody of the No Doubt's song or for the arrange, like this of another famous hit: You Make The World Go Around (Sandy B.). Short life (at least so far), but very intense, so, for this group, that in one year about, produced four dance hit.
