Say DJ

Born in Rome 29/12/1973, Alessandro Ferranti is DJ since '91 and Producer since '93, with the pseudonym of Say DJ, and keeps doing his artistic activity playing Deep Techno and Electro, a Braindance of clear roman matrix that he like to define as "electronic ritual dance", preferring the rhythm dynamics that are common to the dance music. He was active since the starting of the underground electronic music scene in Rome and in Italy, and partecipied at lot of Raves Party of the historic period (first ones in Italy), back to back with artists like Lory D, Luca Cucchetti, Paolo Zerla, Eugenio Passalacqua, he played also in United Kingdom (Brighton, London) and in Switzerland togheter with E.S.T. Crew, producing tracks included on rare 12". Since '99 to nowdays there are lot of clubs and gigs in which he keeps playing in console, and also in italian electronic music festivals like Live Performers Meeting 2008 Multimedia and Visual Arts Festival of Rome, but also D-Side at the Neo Club and Technicism at Rashomon Club with Cylob. In March 2006 was released Donato Dozzy & Say DJ - Polarity EP, created with his friend Donato Dozzy italian DJ Producer too, produced by the Swiss label Mental Groove and distributed on vinyl and digital all over the world by KOMPAKT. In June 2007 the roman based label Sensorial Records created from Say DJ itself, pulls out his first release Say DJ - Fantasia EP in digital format, containing two single tracks: Anagolo & Diagolo, an accurate mixture of Ambient and Deep Techno in perfect minimalistic style. During this year 2009 we are expecting his next release that will be out on the newborn roman label Cannibald Records runned out by his old times friend Leo Anibaldi...
