Screen Gemz, The

A brief stint during the late-1970s Welsh post-punk scene, The Screen Gemz proved to yield the creative duo of Rick Smith and Karl Hyde, which during the 1980s were working as new wave combo Freur, and afterwards as Underworld - initially an MOR-rock band, and changed direction in the 1990s to electronic music and became a highly influential force.
