Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet

Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet

Profile:
Probably best known for supplying the theme song to the Canadian TV show "The Kids in the Hall", Toronto's surf-punk trio Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet formed in 1984 and subsequently released a number of singles, EPs and three full-length albums. Many of the singles came packaged in humorous or unexpected ways, including one which came attached to a package of Jiffy Pop popcorn, and another which included a free board game. The group split up in 1995, and it's members went on to work with other bands. On Feburary 17, 2001, bassist and vocalist Reid Diamond passed away after a battle with cancer.
