Sharon May Linn began was born in the region of the Netherlands, but has built her career in Italy, where she lives today.
She started to sing professionally at the age of 17 but soon turned to the frontlines and began her solo carrer in several bands, reaching often over two-hundred live performances a year.
She featured in many Italian productions in the 1990's. She did all the songs on the
Blizzard and
Sharon S projects. She also performed backing vocals in the Appaloosa Group, a project of dance/pop covers of old hits, and also sang the song "Dream" of
Netzwerk, in 1997.
From reggae to rock to 70s-80s cover bands and acid jazz groups, she became a great performer of big soul names like
Aretha Franklin,
Tina Turner and many others.
In the meantime, Sharon began recording loads of tracks and developped her creativity by writing lyrics, including, from that time on, the producing aspect of music.
Since a decade, she has been working as a free-style vocalist with a huge number of world known house DJ's, throughout the best clubs.
Back in 2003 Sharon May Linn wrote the song
Destination Unknown, it became a hit thanks to vocals by
Crystal Waters.
A lot of releases came out in the last years but one of the summer 2005 big hits was for sure
Lil' Love with the song
Little Love.
