Reviews & Discussion

Review by johnrandall Feb 24, 2009
I would typically prefer to leave well enough alone but this guy has went to far time and time again. He is a total hack, rip off artist all the way, steals without remorse or giving credit where its due. First he had the nerve to sample Aril Brikha's all time classic "Groove La Chord" from Transmat and call it his own. The ultimate disgrace is sampling Basic Channel's timeless Phylyps Trak II with his recent Resident Advisor interview, he denies any such accusation and calls the music his own. But if you listen closely to his entire musical catalog it is all samples of hit techno songs from the 90's, not a thing original about this guy, outside of his name which is almost as bad as his ableton live arrangements of other peoples music. Takes a lot of skill sampling Basic Channel doens't it Shlomi? I hope we hear of the day he falls down an open elevator shaft in the back of Hardwax. What a joke.
