Has a reputation for putting on high energy live performances; bringing down the house countless times solo, and sharing the stage with many underground artists such as Cage, Yakballz, Aceyalone, Mr.Lif, Camu Tao, Red Clay and Jedi Mind Tricks.
The founding member of The Bomb Shelta Association, a crew of artists who recorded an album entitled "Rebirth" in 97/98. The album was never released commercially but garnered critical praise and gained worldwide recognition through word of mouth, hand to hand sales, and the internet.
One of the standout songs on the "Rebirth" album was Shylow's solo track "S.T.O.M.P". It caught the ear of hip-hop legend Chuck D of Public Enemy, who in an issue of Elemental magazine, as well as on his website www.rapstation.com rated the song the number one mp3 download of the year 2000.
In 2003, he became the first Canadian hip-hop artist to have a 'debut' single (Moment Of Clarity b/w The Greatest) released on a reputable American label (Fatbeats/Breakthru) featuring production by a well known and sought after American producer (Ayatollah).
Credited as being one of the Co-Executive Producers for Marco Polo's debut producer album Port Authority, which earned a Juno award nomination in 2008 for Best Rap Album.
