Reviews & Discussion

Review by noviellion Aug 11, 2005 (edited over 6 years ago)
An exquisite song writer that once could be used as a reference or barometer for other artists. His first three albums are straight classics. The latest two releases on Ghostly feature lyrics. Now he sounds like DMX krew. Trying to pop it up?

solvent is becoming one of my favorite artists. despite electro undertones, there is a lot going on here. his composition of music is well thought out. whoever said electronic music has no emotion is a complete idiot. complete with catchy hooks and full on electro basslines, its no wonder that solvent has become one of my favorites. even more amazing live with lowfish.
last night blew me away. 1st u.s appearance last night at the ersatz audio party in detroit. amazing!
