Deep House producer from Dallas, Texas currently living in Taipei, Taiwan Republic of China. As a child, Sona was trained classically as a violinist and was exposed to electronic music at the age of 14. Influenced by the sounds of The Timewriter and mentor Demarkus Lewis, his first 12" came out on Chicago-based Hook-up Tunes. He later went on to win Pete Tong's Bedroom Bedlam competition with "Nowhere to Run". In 2006, he moved to Taiwan and launched Nosa Recordings, the island's first underground dance music label. The first release on his label gained him a nomination for the 2009 Asia Voice Independent Music Award.
