Alex Dean (aka Souldoubt) has produced some damn fine house tracks on a number of labels since 2000. If there is one criticism I would have its that his sound can get a little one dimensional at times as he does a lot of deep tracks; some almost too laid back for the dancefloor. 4820 Sunset, Coffee & Donuts, Work It & Funk Dat amongst others are all classic though and well worth checking out.

Im not sure what the story is with Freaked Records. There have been no new releases lately and the website seems to have been taken down. Its a shame really as Souldoubt had quite a few releases/remixes on the label and they are now impossible to get (on digital download anyway).
