Soulful Distortion was founded in 1995 by Kareem Raihani and Tom van Huystee. After releasing seven records at several record labels, Ilona Minchom became part of the band as the lead singer. Gijs van Klooster entered the band as the technical engineer and recently Soulful Distortion met a new all-round musician called Avi, who brought in the accoustic part of drums, flute and a dreamy voice.

Soulful Distortion is my favorite Dutch electronic band, and has a very good reputation for their live performance. High-speed techno, multidimensional trance and universal energy is what they create. A source of inspiration for many young dj's in the Netherlands - and I am one of them.
