Spinners

Profile:
"Detroit" was added to the Spinners name in the UK to avoid confusion with the UK folk group of the same name. The group was formed in the 1960s, and towards the end of the 1970s recorded several disco tracks, culminating in their 1980 international smash hit "Working my way back to you", arranged by Michael Zager. However we must not overlook the more obscure including the funky "Once you fall in love" and "If you wanna do a dance". More soulful hits include "Rubberband Man".
