Anyhow, while his cousin has made the big time, Kidd is still stomping around behind the scenes. An underground trooper you could call him. He has recorded for a plethora of well-respected labels, such as NYC's Yellorange, Chi-Town's Dancemania, the sadly defunct Cajual, London's ubiquitous Peacefrog, and the Dutch imprint After Midnight.

Kidd's style is unique. He blends retro disco samples with deep Chicago-house beats to perfection. He fuses uplifting, soulful vocal samples and time-honored disco licks with driving four-to-the-floor beats.
