Reviews & Discussion

this drum n bass duo's tracks are heavily influenced by science fiction films. their sound is best described as "futuristic".

Stakka and Skynet are of course among the greatest D&B producers on this planet! I mean their dark-ambient based stuff really gives you the feeling like their trying to tell you something, a feeling most often found in classical music. They are among those who write the symphonies of the modern, digital, nuclear-powered monkeys that we are; ,,global report" is an excellent example of this*****. And of course when they feel like blowing their top off they really can, be on the look out for ,,Isolation" (with Keaton) it will rock your socks off!! Nothing bad can be said about their remix of the classic ,,Planet Rock" by Africa Bambaata. it simply kix-ass.
If you wish Bad-company had more off an dark-ambient style, and fex more bass-cones(dont know what its called in english) or if you like concord dawn these guys should make you weep like a baby!!

my favourite d&b producers. very cool and original sound along the lines of Bad Company. songs like Bios-Fear and Altitude are classics which have appeared endless times throughout mixes.
