Static Drum, the story of an exchange between people eager to share their common perception of music. A mixture of intuition, poetry and self respect, each one meets the other universe. John Thomas, a DJ since 1989, starts composing in 1996 and his tracks meet the expectations of the DJ's and dancing crowds, based upon a long experience of dance-floors.
Olivier Micheli, truly fond of machines, sets up in 1994 his own studio full of ancient synthetizers and antique drum machines. He experiments with a sound close to Ambient Dub, and constantly works on new soundscapes.
Through their own experiences and their dreams, John and Olivier deliver a fair amount of delicacy in this harsh world. Their message is clear, "Welcome to the Techno universe made in Static Drum".
