Steve Allen (December 26, 1921, New York City, USA - October 30, 2000, Los Angeles, USA) was an American composer, pianist & comedian. Allen is best known as a talk show pioneer and for hosted numerous radio & TV shows including Tonight show and later The Steve Allen Show. Allen also supposedly wrote more than 7,000 songs and composed a few scores for film and television.
