Reviews & Discussion

Stryper most certainly did NOT start the Black Metal movement. Venom's album titled 'Black Metal' launched the genre in 1982, four years before 'The Yellow and Black Attack.' Anyone with access to Wikipedia could verify as much. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_metal

Stryper are a legendary Christian glam-rock band, famous for their yellow-and-black striped outfits. For those who regard 80s glam-rock as a joke, Stryper are an even bigger joke! But their music is not the worst thing to come out of that era, and the lyrics are pretty funny in their earnestness.
