Substance & Vainqueur are the most representative duo for dub techno to me. why? because they are the only guys related to basic channel and their sound who are still really active. And with active i dont mean producing only. But they bring the sound forward with their very deep, hypnotic live sets. Drowned in delays and reverberation their sets sound like one long track connected with deep pulsating sounds and effects. This music breathes berlin. I had the chance so see them live three times, and all three sets where amazing. I think this is dub techno in his purest form, you wont come much closer to the source. Hopefully there will be a liveset available soon.
