Suges

Suges is pronounced "shugz", like sugar (i.e. his last name). Born in Toronto, Canada in 1977 to Irish and Hungarian parents, Suges starting messing around with keyboards when he was four. He began making music under the name "Sonic Ecstasy" in 1989 releasing what's known as "mod files" to the underground BBS network (a precursor to the Internet). In 2000 he started Gemma Records with his good friends Ronn "Triplet" Calderon and Sweeney "Sigg Shore" Williams, releasing his first 12" record "Suges Wrex Shop".

After passing the reigns of Gemma to Ronn in 2002, Suges has since pressed forth as a songwriter and house music producer, writing, producing, and remixing for various artists and labels, as well as collaborating with his good friend Martino under the name "Eminence", and co-engineering for 83 West. In 2004 he started Internet house music radio station Soulstream Networks with his friends Martino and Marco.
