Dance group formed in Chelmsford, England, most well-known for their 1992 hits Love U More and Perfect Motion.
The band was named after a sound on a Yamaha synthesizer.

As well as the big hits 'Pressure' and 'Perfect Motion', Sunscreem are perhaps less known as the original performers of 'Love U More', a song made considerably more famous because of cover versions by various pop/dance acts such as Steps and DJ Paul Elstack. This single, why not selling quite as much as some of the others, has probably garnered Holm and Carnell the most income through writing credits.
To my mind, Sunscreem are one of the few dance acts to arrived since the mid-80s who can compete with the mighty old-timers like Depeche Mode and New Order in terms of writing Proper Songs that work on the dancefloor but also mix down into perfect radio-friendly three-to-four minute pop capsules. Sadly their ability has not yet been reflected in their record sales but who knows, maybe they'll come up with a world-beating hit single yet. I wouldn't put it past them.
