Profile:Seth Horvitz (b. 1973, Los Angeles) is an electronic musician, composer, sound designer, and DJ based in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1991. Under the name Sutekh, he has released music on dozens of record labels, including Mille Plateaux (Germany), Soul Jazz (UK), The Leaf Label (UK), Orthlorng Musork (USA), and his own Context Free Media. While identified most often as a techno artist, Sutekh is well known for his innovative and irreverent approach, incorporating a range of influences from dub, funk, and free jazz to experimental noise, musique concrète, and classical minimalism.

Many times it is truly difficult to succeed to interpret an artist.
How to try to define Sutekh?
Well, for me, after the life, when an individual dies, a sound in the afterlife is listened to. The sound of sutekh.
But in this case the words are superfluous and insignificant.
The aphorisms also.
One of the few minimalistic geniuses.
Without words.
