Reviews & Discussion

Review by Balint Jul 23, 2008
Very consistent super hard working dj/producer from the hard techno scene. Truly emerged as international next generation techno talent celebrated world wide. His production skills and his very own sophisticated dark and mysterious approach to music arguably puts him one step ahead from others. Showing a certain ammount of sensitivity towards club techno and influences from hip-hop, breakbeat and so on. Without a dought there's a lot more to come in the future and definetely one of the hottest dj/producer/remixer to look out for.

Sven Wittekind makes some of the hardest techno I have ever heard. All of his tracks are wicked fast, wicked hard, and wicked cool. Some of my favorite tracks by him are The Whistle, Wittekind 001 B1, Sunstorm, and Maybe We Are All Crazy. The Whistle is a slower, but still hard masterpiece. Wittekind 001 B1 has perfect sequencing and assures a good headbanging session. Sunstorm's melody is unique and shows that Sven actually has a knowledge for musical composition. Maybe We Are All crazy uses cool high-pitched voice sampling looped over thumping rhythmic drums. This guy is one of the best producers in the techno world.

Very good quality Hard Techno producer. Sometimes not too distorted as DJ Amok. He even sometimes steps in the line of Club Techno, but with that Hard touch form the Schranz scene. But indeed a good producer.
