Blues guitarist, singer and songwriter, born 28 May 1910 in Linden, Texas, died 16 March 1975 in Los Angeles, California.

A recording artist since 1929, Walker was one of the first artists to use an electric guitar in the 1930s. His best known song is probably 1947's (They Call It) Stormy Monday.
