T-Trider

Real Name:
Vitaliy Puschin
Profile:
If you are on a dance floor in Minsk, Belarus and suddenly have a big stupid grin on your face, I bet there is T-Trider on the decks.

Drum'n'Bass producer, DJ and promoter, he is well-known for his optimism, infinite energy, ability to create or find catchy tunes, and his great skill of making any party he plays at interesting.

He started producing in 1998, but did not think that the result of his work was good enough to show it to the public until 2002 when he co-organised his first party. The party in question was a real success and has finally grown into a monthly festival, "System Of Electronic Madness". For the following two seasons, this was the most interesting event for electronic-heads.

Since spring 2003 he has become one of the most requested DJs/produces of the Belarussian capital. Autumn 2003 saw him, together with his friend Anton from "Koordinate of Wonders", art-managing at "New Club", which was the only club in Minsk that had a clear programme and offered something other than cheesy pop music. He organised gigs in Minsk for artists including EU and Klutch, the fat of Russian electronica, and several interesting Russian D'n'B producers, like DJ Bes, Dissident, Proket and Impex.

As a DJ he spins D'n'B, all kinds of breaks, gabber and soviet retro, but his own music is much more interesting. His styles include drum'n'bass, breakbeat and sometimes trip-hop or IDM. Vitaly Puschin (T-Trider's real name) is a real hit-maker. The dance floor is always overcrowded when his remix to the Requiem For a Dream soundtrack starts, and also when his mixes to Russian and Belarussian folk tunes or soviet cartoon retro are played. His tunes that do not use sample material from other sources are also extremely catchy and he has made great progress in his production technique. He is also always open for collaborations. The list of people he has worked with includes such local artists as "Koordinate of Wonders" (IDM), Temax and Walder (D'n'B), Synthetic Dreams (synth-pop), Dreamlin (downtempo) and Maks Retort. His tracks have been released on several compilations in Russia and Belarus. So far he has not had a solo release. But every T-Tider’s track put online at www.electrokids.org is always a risk that server would not be able to withstand the extra traffic.
