Talla 2XLC is credited for being one of the pioneers of the global Techno scene. From being the founding father of the legendary Technoclub @ Dorian Gray (est. 1984), to becoming one of the most loved Trance DJs in Germany.
Talla founded the "TECHNOCLUB" established in 1984, located in the legendary Dorian Gray (R.I.P) @ the Frankfurt Airport. Technoclub is one of the most influential electronic music clubs in the world, responsible for placing many different styles of Techno and Trance on the worldwide map of music. In the early days, Technoclub played host to many of today's most talented figures of Dance music including Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, PVD and others.
Talla placed djing aside from 1992-1995 to give his undivided attention to setting up the record company 'Music Research' , home to labels such as Tetsuo, Technoclub, Suck Me Plasma, Chaos, Bonzai and many more. In 1995, Talla 2XLC returned to the dj scene, and started his climb back up to his previous status.
Talla is a true believer of our worldwide movement, someone with clarity of vision and passion for his trade-take a look at the "world through his eyes" and see what the future has in store.
Until 2000 all tracks were produced with Vernon Baur. Until 2004 his productions were done with J.D. Wood & Frost. Since 2004 Talla teams up with Woody van Eyden and Alex M.O.R.P.H. From 2006 has Talla now teamed up with Andreas Schmidt aka Ace Da Brain as his new production partner.

Talla 2XLC meant alot to the global trance/techno-community. His Music Research-imperium was immense, but is sadly gone. He influenced alot of today's famous (hard)trance-DJs and can still compete with the best. In 2003 he started a new label, called 'Bostich'. It's his 'real-trance'-label, so expect maximum 2XLC-trance! He also reanimated the famous Technoclub-series. Currently, he's working with Woody van Eyden on new tunes so expect to hear from Talla very soon!
Recognised or not as one of the best german trance producers , what it is certain is that Talla's sound is one of the most distinctive and unique between all the trance and even the techno scene , with his thick and heartpounding basslines , complex arrangements and dense sound , he has a unconfusable trademark
