Tao Jones Index

Tao Jones Index is the name David Bowie and his band used for the electronic segments of their live shows on the 1997 "Earthling" tour. He also played a full set under this name in the Phoenix Festival dance tent that year. It's a pun based on his own real name (D. Jones) and his bond offering that he made earlier that year (Tao is pronounced "Dow", as in Dow Jones Index from the US stock market).
