Finnish heavy metal band.
Originally called Purgatory, the band was formed in the 80s by the Hietala brothers, Marco and Zachary. When they got their first record deal, they were forced to change name, becoming Tarot. The band originally included second guitarist Mako H and drummer Pecu Cinnari.
Their first full-lenght, "Spell of Iron", came out in 1986; two years later, their second album, titled "Follow Me Into Madness", was released. Right after the release of this album, Mako H was replaced by keyboard player Janne Tolsa.
After several releases, in 2003 the band got a new record deal, this time with Spinefarm Records, and their latest work came out, called "Suffer Our Pleasures".
