Tatsuhiko Asano was born in the Gifu Prefecture of Japan in 1966. He began playing guitar and home recording at the age of 14. At the age of 16 he joined a brass band and learned percussion. He moved to Tokyo at the age of 21 in order to study at fine arts university where he participated in various bands. In 2000 he composed music for the Nintendo video game "Doshin the GIANT" and in 2004 for David Fenster's movie "Trona".
