Tatsuya Oe is a Japanese electronic musician /DJ, well-known for his mastery of production from
experimental to pop. He burst onto the club scene as the maverick "Captain Funk" in '98 and played
at many big events in Japan like the Fuji Rock Festival, as well as overseas. He released several
successful albums including the acclaimed "Songs of the Siren"(2000).
From "Here and You"(2002), he started another solo project simply under the name "OE",which is
more cutting-edge and introspective.
After the collaboration with Yoshihide Otomo " ONJQ + OE "(2003) and his most experimental album
"Physical Fiction" which was released under his ull-name, Tatsuya Oe ,he has just released his second
album under the "Oe" banner, "Director`s Cut" (P-VINE).
He has remixed and collaborated with over 50 musicians,visual artists,etc.
