Stefan Robbers is a true visionary. So much of the subsequent European techno owed much to his early adaptations of the Detroit sound, and the early Terrace & R.E.C. productions are genuine techno classics in every sense. His complex drum patterns, drifting and stabbing synths, and intelligent and varied structures are things of real beauty to be cherished and they have earned their (and his) place in music history. If you don't own any of his records, you should probably rectify that so that you can fully appreciate his contribution to the scene. Thank you Stefan, for enriching our lives with your music and your influence.
