Terry Burrus, pianist/synthesist and Brooklyn, New York native started touring as a teenager playing with Michael Urbaniak, Jean Carne, Tom Browne, Lenny White, Melba Moore then graduating to Lena Horne. He became a highly respected and successful recording session man playing on recordings of Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Swing Out Sister, Mariah Carey, Cardigans, Phyllis Hyman, Frankie Knuckles and David Morales. From his teenage days as a jazz fusionist to funkster to house and techno pioneer, today as a recording artist he is regarded as a highly progressive pianist.
