Tha Chill

Dropped out of high school at an early age in order to pursue a career in music. Hooked up with neighborhood buddy MC Eiht and formed Comptons Most Wanted and released the single "This Is Compton" on the independent label Techno Hop. The single served as the group's demo that was eventually picked up by Orpheus Records. Tha Chill appeared on most of the group's debut album, It's A Compton Thang. However he found times hard when he served jail time and consequently was not a factor on the subsequent two CMW albums. After finishing his sentence, Chill returned into music with brief appearnces on albums by MC Eiht, MC Ren, and others. After almost ten years since his start with CMW, Tha Chill started his own label called Bigfutt Entertainment where he released his debut solo album, Tha Wind Chill Factor with the forerunner single "Smoke This FNJ" in 2003.
