Thee Plague Of Gentlemen

  / artists (T)
Profile:Frederik Cosemans: Drums
Steven Van Cauwenbergh: Bass and backing vocals
Steve McMillan: Guitars and lead vocals
Frederic Caure: Guitars

The band split officially on 16th of July 2006, after their singer Steve McMillan (real name: Steven Wackenier) was arrested five days earlier on charges of multiple child rape. So far he has confessed to the rapes of four children between the ages of 5 and 7, but it is believed that more victims were involved. In addition to sexually attacking the children, Wackenier allegedly took pictures of them, according to a press release issued by the police.

The other members issued a statement on their website and completely disassociated themselves to the criminal acts committed. Their label I Hate Records stopped the distribution of their first and only album immediately.
