Therese's 'reinvention' of herself a la Madonna (but sans the media hype) seems to be finally paying off, at least here in the States... while she hasn't had her nation-wide breakthrough hit in the US yet, her single "Time" finally saw a major label release in the US at the beginning of 2005 and it got considerable play on the gay circuit scene. Folowing "Time," each successive release Therese has appeared on whether as a featured artist or one of her own, has gained consistent airplay on the circuit and in clubs, gaining her a considerable quasi-underground following. It will be interesting to see how her career develops, especially given her new following and her signing to Positiva, the latter of which has the big label clout to get her on the airwaves but enough of the clubworld respect to get her onto the decks as well.
