Having produced a milestone-album of German hiphop
with 'Genuine Draft', since 1999 Thomilla would provide a platform for several artists with his label and production studio Benztown located in Stuttgart. His producing of the album 'Weltweit' by Michi Beck, member of Die Fantastischen Vier, led to the DJ-project Turntablerocker - named after one of the tracks from Michi Beck's album. The experience of working as a DJ-duo provided a broad background of different styles from hiphop, to electro to funk for two Turntablerocker-albums. With 'Freeze', Thomilla is back on the solopath, still working with a huge variety of different styles and always keeping an eye on the dancefloor.
